Knowledge base and the AI librarian

Folders, search, and what the AI will and will not do.

The Knowledge base holds reference material - manuals, SOPs, care sheets, specifications, safety documents - with the text extracted so it is searchable. Cold Hut's shared documents are there for everyone; what you upload is private to your organisation.

The AI librarian (Pro and Complete plans)

• Sort: files every unsorted document into a folder (Manuals, SOPs and procedures, Care and water treatment, Parts and specifications, Safety and compliance, Warranties and purchase). You can move any document afterwards.
• Ask: answers a question from the documents only, citing which ones it used. If the documents do not contain the answer it says so rather than guessing.
• Suggest: reads one document and proposes maintenance tasks that are missing from your list. Nothing is created until you approve each suggestion - the AI never changes the maintenance setup on its own.
